I have been involved in various educational and professional roles that provide me with a unique skillset, such as my involvement with the Ontario Medical Association in various elected and appointed roles, currently as a delegate for my district and second year of being the Chair of the Section of Psychiatry, leading Ontario psychiatrists through the practice changes and various negotiations that were brought upon this field due to COVID.
I have served privately as an advisor to some of the leading physicians in the field throughout their transitions. I have delivered multiple educational workshops in various settings. I am focused on providing the GROWTH AND TRANSITION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR through leadership coaching and education.
My name is Adam Ly and this is My Story:
Teaching is something that I have been doing since I was in high school. I worked at the Kumon Learning Centre tutoring kids in my teenage years, teaching university students in my young adult years in the Leadership Education Program at Western University, and now seasonally lecturing as an adjunct lecturer at the School of Occupational Therapy. Teaching is my passion.
I received my Bachelor of Health Sciences: Honours Specialization in Health Promotion degree (BHSc) in 2014 and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) in 2016 from Western University. I work at a private rehabilitation company providing occupational therapy services to clients with mental health, cognitive injuries, and chronic pain in both the insurance and private pay sectors.
I co-founded the Triumph Excellence and Coaching Centre to use my knowledge, expertise, skills, and passion for teaching to empower professionals in making changes towards a better life aligned to their values. I hope to share my knowledge and skills to help you making changes that are important in your life to achieve your goals for a greater well-being. I truly believe that knowledge is power, and that we are all capable of making change.
